Effective April 1, 2025, Eric Giese has taken over as Managing Director of meteoviva GmbH, succeeding Uwe Großmann. Giese will oversee sales, project planning, and services at MeteoViva, and will play a key role in driving the company’s continued growth.

His goal is to sustain the company’s dynamic growth momentum in the coming years. To this end, he is focusing on leveraging meteoviva’s innovative capabilities, scaling operational structures, and building strategic partnerships.

The 55-year-old is no stranger to the smart building industry and is deeply embedded in the industry, with a strong network of key contacts.

Eric Giese has extensive experience in digital building technology, having held senior positions at companies such as SPIE, Drees & Sommer, and Siemens. In these roles, he played a pivotal part in the development of IoT services and digital business models based on artificial intelligence and machine learning. Most recently, he was responsible for the go-to-market strategy of Siemens Smart Infrastructure in the German real estate market.
