meteoviva, Sprinkenhof and SAUTER: Working together for climate-friendly buildings in Hamburg
Hamburg – Since 2023, meteoviva GmbH and SAUTER Germany have been working successfully with Sprinkenhof GmbH to optimise the building technology of several city-owned properties. The partnership is making a measurable contribution to energy efficiency and CO₂ reduction – a key component of Hamburg’s climate targets. Especially against the backdrop of the referendum to achieve climate neutrality by 2040, the project shows how the building sector can make a significant difference.
Sprinkenhof GmbH, Hamburg’s central real estate company, relies on the expertise of meteoviva and SAUTER. Together, they have achieved significant efficiency gains since the start of their cooperation: each of the connected buildings has since been operated in a more energy-efficient manner.
Award for exemplary renovation
A particular highlight of the collaboration is the Congress Center Hamburg (CCH), which was awarded third place in the Hamburg Renovation Award 2026 in February. The award recognises climate-friendly renovations of non-residential buildings and innovative contributions to sustainable urban development.
