I always start with a good breakfast. I prepare for early appointments beforehand. That means I either start with the first meeting in the office or at home, or I work through my e-mails.
In the evenings, I often enjoy going to the gym, taking fitness classes and then going to the sauna. I usually spend evenings without a program with my wife.
I am not a typical sales representative. I do my “job” out of conviction and have been working on the topics of energy efficiency, structural change in energy supply, and environmental protection in the home and workplace since 1988. As a graduate engineer in technical environmental protection, I have a scientific basis for my work and always see myself as a customer advisor in sales. I can pursue this approach at meteoviva. At the same time, together with the meteoviva team, I have succeeded in developing what was then a completely new technology into a state-of-the-art product, and by scaling our business model, we have now also had a significant impact on CO2 emissions. We are actively working to protect the climate, which for me is absolutely fulfilling and meaningful in today’s world.
The personal interaction in the meteoviva team is important to me. For a long time, the team was significantly smaller than it is today and the atmosphere was “family-like”. Despite the rapid growth, we have been able to preserve something of that atmosphere.
The option to work from home is very important to me. With the new location in Aachen (an hour’s drive for me), frequent presence would otherwise be a time-consuming effort. I think the sports programs and events are great. Participating in the Indeland Triathlon was a personal highlight.
