MeteoViva continues European expansion
In the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg the smart data provider now operates under the name MeteoViva Benelux
Jülich, September 14, 2020 — MeteoViva is expanding its activities in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg and from now on operates in this region under the name MeteoViva Benelux. MeteoViva Benelux BV is a joint venture between MeteoViva GmbH and its long-standing Dutch sales partner Energy Controlling based in Malden.
"In our neighboring countries the demand for digital solutions that reduce the CO2 footprint of real estate through energy-efficient building operation is growing as well. At the same time, we have more and more international customers, so that a single market presence is necessary," says MeteoViva Managing Director Dr. Jan Scheffler, explaining the decision.
Peter Crijns, Managing Director of MeteoViva Benelux, adds: "MeteoViva's predictive smart data technology receives a lot of attention here. We are currently installing the intelligent MeteoViva technology in a prestigious building in Amsterdam. Additional inquiries from large Dutch and international companies and property developers are already on the table".
With this joint venture, MeteoViva continues its internationalization. The company has been present in the Netherlands since its foundation. in 2014 an expansion to Switzerland an in 2016 to the USA followed. As part of a comprehensive cooperation with a real estate developer, MeteoViva recently started the installations of its fully automated building optimization in buildings in the UK and France. "We have been able to significantly expand our European footprint in recent months, which emphasizes our claim to leadership in the field of intelligent building management," explains Dr. Jan Scheffler.
