At EXPO REAL, SAUTER and MeteoViva present amanteia – a jointly developed solution for planning and supporting decisions for sustainability measures. amanteia enables real estate decision makers to get a quick overview of the decarbonisation path of the entire portfolio and calculates the optimal sequence of measures for this.

Sonar Real Estate (Sonar), the asset manager of "THE SQUAIRE", situated directly on Frankfurt Airport, is now working closely with MeteoViva Deutschland, a provider of smart data solutions. The aim of the partnership is to further reduce the CO₂ emissions and energy consumption of Germany's largest mixed-use commercial property.

For the first time, MeteoViva's smart data technology also ensures reduced energy consumption and CO2 emissions in the retail segment and thus also sets important and urgently needed sustainable impulses in shopping centres.

As the City of Hamburg's sustainability partner, the two companies will equip the public buildings with MeteoViva's smart data solution and the corresponding building automation from Sauter-Cumulus. Energy consumption and CO₂ emissions will be reduced significantly as a result.

The expert for software-based environmental management systems is to further expand the national and international business. As Head of Sales, David Triebel will take over sales responsibilities from Dr. Jan Scheffler. The long-time member of the management board retires from the management due to time constraints and moves to the advisory board to continue to support MeteoViva with his experience.

From December, the TRIANON in Frankfurt am Main will be operated in a predictive and energy-optimized manner using MeteoViva Climate smart data technology. As the property's asset manager, KanAm Grund Group expects this to result in significant energy savings and further benefits for investors and tenants. Two other buildings in the Group's portfolio - Campus E in Munich and the property on Hammerstrasse in Hamburg - are also expected to benefit from the advantages of predictive building management by the first half of 2023 at the latest.

After MeteoViva Climate became the first recognized service of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) in 2021, the smart data solution provider MeteoViva has gone one step further in terms of the degree of fulfillment for a DGNB certification "building in operation".

Post Real Estate Management and Services AG has rolled out Locatee in more than 20 locations to analyse workplace utilisation. Digital technology is of inestimable value: "Digitalization is a key to what the sustainability manager has been looking for for a long time. For example, the CO2 emissions of a building can now be optimized using Big Data applications without having to retrofit the building automation system. Generali is working with the Jülich Proptech Meteoviva on this.

Our US subsidiary MeteoViva Inc. received the Energy Efficiency Award 2017 from the German American Chamber of Commerce (GACC). Jean-Marie Bergeal, CEO of MeteoViva Inc. accepted the award on July 13 during a festive awards ceremony in New York. With their decision, the jury of experts recognized MeteoViva Climate as an important German innovation in the US-American green building sector.

Roughly 300 participants attended the 25th symposium of C.A.R.M.E.N. e.V. in Straubing on July 10 and 11, 2017 which was officially opened by Ilse Aigner, State Minister for Economy and Media, Energy and Technology during a State reception in front of 400 guests. Managing Director, Markus Werner, was invited as a speaker to present MeteoViva Climate as pioneering technology for the optimized operation of technical systems.

MeteoViva expands on its core building concept. The company is now able to support entire districts and document energy data in compliance with ISO 50001.

How can sustainability be included in the valuation of properties, and does sustainability of a green building actually obtain a premium price? We asked Ursula Hartenberger, Manager Global Head of Sustainability at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Since the optimization possibilities of climatic systems in buildings are viewed as largely exhausted, greater importance will be assigned to the optimization of the technical infrastructure in the future. No big celebration. Both managing partners of MeteoViva GmbH didn’t have much time Tuesday evening in the coronation hall of Aachen town hall to drink a toast to winning the AC² innovation prize with all colleagues.

For Markus Werner it was somewhat like a reunion. Five years ago, the founder and managing partner of the Jülich MeteoViva GmbH already was on the stage in the coronation hall of Aachen town hall.
