David Triebel new Head of Sales at MeteoViva

The expert for software-based environmental management systems is to further expand the national and international business

Dr. Jan Scheffler changes to the Advisory Board

Jülich, January 24, 2023 — David Triebel took over the overall sales management of MeteoViva GmbH on January 1. The 47-year-old is a proven specialist in the international sales of technical products. He comes to MeteoViva from the DURAG Group, where he was Managing Director of DURAG DATA SYSTEMS GmbH for nine years.

DURAG DATA SYSTEMS GmbH  is a leading provider of software-based environmental management systems. As Head of Sales, David Triebel will take over sales responsibilities from Dr. Jan Scheffler. The long-time member of the management board retires from the management due to time constraints and moves to the advisory board to continue to support MeteoViva with his experience.

In his new function, David Triebel will report to MeteoViva Managing Director Uwe Großmann. "David fits perfectly into our requirement profile with his know-how and net-work. We were looking for someone who could push the expansion of MeteoViva, especially internationally", comments Uwe Großmann.

David Triebel is looking forward to his new task. "Software-as-a-service solutions like MeteoViva Climate, which both save energy and reduce CO₂ emissions, belong to the future - and we have by no means exhausted our potential yet."
