meteoviva – Data security, data protection, and certification
Data security is core to our business. We are setting standards for safeguarding customer data. TÜV Rheinland certified our processes and systems to the ISO 27001 standard in 2020. Certifications were renewed in 2023. Audits covered all relevant divisions of the German site, making us a leading certified data provider in the building sector in Germany.

Our guideline
For transparency, we’ve compiled our security goals and strategies into a comprehensive guideline. Information security encompasses IT systems and the data stored in them. It also includes the management of non-electronically processed and stored data and information.
meteoviva – Information security management ISO 27001
In May 2020, we became Germany’s first provider of intelligent building control to beISO 27001:2013 certified. The certification was renewed in 2023. This proves that we’ve got a strong information security management system that covers products, services, and all the key business processes. To maintain this standard in the future, we will be audited annually by TÜV Rheinland.

To offer top-notch data security to our customers, we operate from secure German data centers. All our data centers are ISO 27001 certified and compliant with stringent German data protection laws.
Risk assessment
We conduct regular risk assessments to maintain a highly secure environment. The assessments cover both the technical systems and employee qualifications and protection.
