Challenge
Offering a diverse array of office and commercial spaces, WTC Dresden is used by multiple types of tenants. The challenge was to meet tenants’ expectations while also cutting costs and energy consumption.
Solution
The WTC scores well in terms of a building’s ecological qualities. It has a climate protection roadmap that is aligned to national targets. It aims for long-term climate-neutral operations. meteoviva climate is one of the solutions being deployed.
Results
meteoviva’s smart data solution optimized WTC’s indoor climate, cutting energy expenses and CO2 emissions. Simultaneously, the building pursued certification from the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). As meteoviva climate has been a recognized DGNB service since 2021, the WTC collected important points needed to achieve platinum certification.
