Industry expert Uwe Großmann will be responsible for the system partner business with immediate effect

A capital increase also provides the company with new financial resources on its way to becoming Europe's number 1 for the forward-looking operation of buildings

Jülich, January 12, 2022 — With an enlarged management team and a capital increase in the seven-digit range, MeteoViva GmbH intends to further establish and expand its partner business. Effective immediately, current advisory board member Uwe Großmann will become part of the company's management team and assume responsibility for the system partner business.

Großmann, who has already been supporting MeteoViva as a company advisory board member since October 2020, is considered a proven industry expert. As Head of Sales and Operations Region Germany of Siemens Smart Infrastructure, he led the portfolio management for the Solution & Service business of Siemens Building Technologies for many years. He has a total of more than 30 years of management experience in the building industry, the energy market and the service partner industry.

"Uwe is at home where we want to go," says Dr. Stefan Hardt, spokesman for the management board. "With successful initial collaborations with Siemens and Sauter, we have begun to integrate our control data as a digital service into the platforms of leading providers." With the system partner business, MeteoViva wants to once again significantly accelerate market penetration and internationalization.

"In the building sector, MeteoViva has been delivering sustainable and proven solutions for global markets for years and is a cost-effective option for the implementation of real estate investors' ESG strategies. This development is now picking up considerable momentum in the wake of the discussion on ESG and taxonomy," says Uwe Großmann. The manager is convinced that predictive building control is one of the key technologies that enable holistic energy management of the grid and buildings with smart data. The use of the innovative MeteoViva Climate technology will make a significant contribution to climate protection..

The appointment of Uwe Großmann is not the only personnel change in the company's management team. At the same time, the previous IT manager Felix Haferkorn was appointed as the new authorized signatory of MeteoViva GmbH and is now part of the extended management team as CIO alongside the Head of Engineering Tristan Henninger. Among other things, Haferkorn has played a key role in the technical development of MeteoViva Climate.
