KanAm Grund Group chooses MeteoViva's Smart Data Building Control System as part of its Sustainability Strategy

Predictive property management ensures reduced energy consumption and CO2 emissions from office buildings

KanAm Grund Group expects significant energy savings for investors and tenants

No initial investment required with MeteoViva's "Sustainable Buildings as a Service" model

Juelich/Frankfurt Main, Dezember 14, 2022 – From December, the TRIANON in Frankfurt am Main will be operated in a predictive and energy-optimized manner using MeteoViva Climate smart data technology. As the property's asset manager, KanAm Grund Group expects this to result in significant energy savings and further benefits for investors and tenants. Two other buildings in the Group's portfolio - Campus E in Munich and the property on Hammerstrasse in Hamburg - are also expected to benefit from the advantages of predictive building management by the first half of 2023 at the latest.

Uwe Großmann, Managing Director of MeteoViva GmbH, comments on the cooperation: "KanAm Grund Group is pursuing an ambitious sustainability strategy in the interests of its investors and tenants. We are pleased to be able to support them in this with our innovative technology and thus jointly take another step towards climate neutrality."

Manuel Hein, Head of Sustainable Asset Strategy at KanAm Grund Group adds, "The implementation of appropriate measures in the course of a sustainability strategy at company and property level are just as important to us as the selection of suitable partners. With MeteoViva, we have a reliable and competent partner at our side who understands our motivation and goals and supports us in implementing them. The focus is on climate protection - by saving energy and reducing CO2 emissions. In addition, tenants benefit from higher indoor air comfort in the properties as well as lower utility costs."

The benefits of MeteoViva Climate
To reduce the portfolio's energy consumption and CO2 emissions, KanAm Grund Group is relying on intelligent and scalable solutions as part of its sustainability strategy. Initially, the use of MeteoViva Climate is expected to cut indoor climate-related energy consumption by 15 to 20 percent in each of these buildings. The real estate specialist is thus setting a clear signal for the reduction of CO2 emissions in the operation of the buildings.

Both tenants and investors benefit from this innovative technology. The respective energy consumption can be adapted to the needs of the tenants, while at the same time the forward-looking operation of the systems technology ensures a balanced indoor climate. MeteoViva's "Sustainable Buildings as a Service" service model means that there are no initial costs. Thanks to the savings guarantee provided by MeteoViva, real estate properties can be made more energy efficient without any investment costs.
