MeteoViva receives Energy Efficiency Awards – German Innovation in U.S. Buildings

dena Energy Efficiency Award
MeteoViva and Fraport win the prestigious dena Energy Efficiency Award in November 2018. In the category Energy Efficiency from clever to digital, the two companies were recognized for using data in an intelligent way so that building technology can be operated even more efficiently.

Digital Energy Award
MeteoViva received the Digital Energy Award in the Lean Operations category at the E-world 2018 trade show in Essen, Germany. The jury, which was made up of industry experts, highlighted the outstanding technology that facilitates processes in the energy sector through automation, increased process efficiency and agile organizational development in the power industry.

Deloitte Fast 50
MeteoViva was recognized with the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Award in November 2017. This award recognizes the Jülich-based company as one of the fastest growing technology companies in Germany. Deloitte uses the previous 4 years to rank companies - a period when MeteoViva achieved a 260% growth, finishing 18th overall.

Energy Efficiency Award
Our US subsidiary MeteoViva Inc. received the Energy Efficiency Award 2017 from the German American Chamber of Commerce (GACC). Jean-Marie Bergeal, CEO of MeteoViva Inc. accepted the award on July 13 during a festive awards ceremony in New York. With their decision, the jury of experts recognized MeteoViva Climate as an important German innovation in the US-American green building sector.

AC² Innovation Award
MeteoViva received the AC² Innovation award from Region Aachen. “MeteoViva GmbH is a pioneer with its technology and its innovative business model. Its sets an international standard for energy efficient building automation”, the jury explained how the decision was reached. “They are a flagship for innovativion of the city of Aachen.”

This prestigious honor defines the company as an innovative and growing business leader, providing a unique solution to a market nee in the US. We comment them on this achievement.”

German Accelerator
MeteoViva was selected to participate in the German Accelerator along with 18 young technology companies. The most innovative German companies from the information and communication sectors, are funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, and receive comprehensive mentoring and coaching to facilitate their entry into the US market.

DB Supplier Award
MeteoViva was presented the Supplier Award 2014 by the Deutsche Bahn in the category “special prize”. The prize is awarded every two years to Deutsche Bahn best performing suppliers.

1st Place "AC² – the growth initiative"
MeteoViva wins the competition “AC² – the growth initiative” competing against 35 companies in the founding region Aachen, Düren, Euskirchen and Heinsberg.
